Hemmer Foot
Fit the Foot Hemmer in place of the standard foot. Clip off the right hand corner of the material and with the foot raised place the material from left to right under the foot. With its edge slightly raised, insert the corner into the mouth of the hemmer, easing it along until it fills the curl and reaches the needle. Lower the foot and make a few stitches. Guide the material into the hemmer. If the edge starts to run out, move hand to left: should too much material run in, move to right. Hemming and sewing on lace can be done in one operation by sliding lace through the slot in the side of the attachment and over the hem.
