Measuring 12.5cm tall and 14.4cm in diameter, it is in great condition with no chips or cracks. It has crazing.

The majority of the body of the canister is cream-coloured, with the top section and the lid being the readily identifiable ochre tone.

There is a picture of a chef holding a tea/coffee tray beside the word TEA and the Bendigo Pottery Heritage 'stamp' in umber.
