A small, scalloped white porcelain dish or tray decorated with a hand-painted design of two flying cranes or storks amidst green foliage and blue-toned background accents.

This exact pattern is the highly collectible "Stork Pattern with Cherry Blossom" (Pattern Number 5721), produced by Grafton China (the trade name for A.B. Jones & Sons of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England).

Era: Circa 1930s (Art Deco period).
Design Aesthetic: Heavily influenced by the Art Deco craze for Chinoiserie and Oriental motifs, featuring vibrant black and white storks (or cranes), soft blue clouds, and sprawling green cherry blossom branches against fine white bone china.
It has no chips or cracks. The pattern is in a good condition for its age. (please look at the photos to judge for yourself). There is some slight yellowing around the rim in areas.
It measures 10cm x 10cm, with a depth of 1.8cm.
