Vintage Souvenir of Australia View Ware Ashtray , West Beach Burnie Tasmania , Depression Glass
This great View Ware ashtray shows a view along West Beach, Burnie, looking towards the wharf area.
Measuring 10.5cm (4.1") in diameter and 2.5cm (1") high it's in perfect structural condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, although there is a slight very faint discolouration to the photograph (possibly old water damage) but otherwise is great.
It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
It is also perfect for earrings, money and other small items. Alternatively, it is pretty enough to be a display item.
View Ware was a very popular souvenir line during the early 1900s and is becoming highly collectible - a unique blend of depression glass and fantastic photographs of times gone by.
