This is a vintage Mary Lou wooden doll, manufactured in New Zealand by H.E. Ramsay Limited, featuring an iconic red body and spherical wooden head.

The doll's arms and legs are constructed from multicoloured wooden beads joined together by cord, a design produced between approximately 1940 and 1980.

Similar to the Buzzy Bee toy, the Mary Lou doll is considered a nostalgic "Kiwiana" collectible.

It measures 27.7cm in length. arm span of 12.5cm. Head diameter of 3.8cm. Cord length of 11cm. Doll length of 16.5cm.

The cord is in good condition. The wood has scraps and paint deterioration. Please study all the photos.
