It was priced at 30 pence in the UK and marketed for international sale in Australia and New Zealand.
 
The Concept: Playhour was a weekly British comic designed for nursery-aged children. The segment or specific companion print "Playhour with Play-Group" focused on basic interactive learning, heavily featuring bright illustrations, simple rhyming stories, and adaptations of classic fairy tales.
 
Key Content: It followed a recurring cast of wholesome animals and children engaging in playgroup activities (like crafting and counting) to prepare toddlers for preschool. Later eras famously cross-promoted and shared comic strips with the Mr. Men and Little Miss universe and The Magic Roundabout. 
 
It has some comics in colour but the majority are black and white. 
 
Minor corner rub and bruising, a little page tanning.. Minor pen marks. Minor tears to edges of the pages and covers. Page markings. It has a name written on the front cover.
