Preloved Vintage Japanese porcelain heart-shaped trinket dish, decorated in a classic Art Deco style featuring a colourful pheasant or peacock framed by a floral wreath.
It is typical of mid-20th-century European and Japanese lusterware and porcelain manufacturers
The embossed clover or four-lobed flower on the base confirms this is an authentic antique Noritake lusterware trinket dish produced in Japan.
Maker & Era Breakdown Brand: Noritake (Moru-mura / Nippon Toki Kaisha).
The Mark: This specific incised or embossed four-lobed symbol was used directly on the ceramic blanks of their small specialty items—such as handled heart dishes and hatpin holders—predominantly during the 1920s to 1930s Art Deco era. It was often paired with a green or red stamped "Nippon" or "Noritake" logo on slightly larger variations.
It measures 10cm x 11.4cm, with a height of 4.2cm.
It is in good vintage condition. It has no chips or cracks. The pattern and rim are in good condition with some minor loss of colour in spots. Please study the photos.
