Wooden Serving Platter, Wood Grazing Board

This platter is made of Tasmanian Macrocarpa. A Northern American tree historically planted around houses and farms in Tasmania to provide windbreaks and shelter for animals.

It measures 43.1cm in length, 14.8cm wide and 0.7cm in thickness.

The metal handles measure 11.5cm in width and 3.4cm in height.

It has been sealed with food-safe wax.

The pattern is burnt into the wood.
