This is a vintage bamboo letter rack or hanging shelf.

Material: Constructed entirely from natural bamboo poles, featuring a warm, 'tiger' or 'tortoiseshell' patina which is a result of age and use.
Design: The rack has two tiers or compartments for storage, a distinctive arched top, and decorative crisscross (diamond) patterns on the front panels.
Versatility: It can be used as a freestanding item on a desk or counter, or mounted on a wall using a hanging mechanism.
Age/Origin: Similar items are often dated to the 1960s or 1970s and are associated with mid-century modern or coastal decor styles.

This letter holder stands 32.2cm tall and has base measurements of 28.9cm x 9cm.

It has some minor signs of its vintage age but overall is in good vintage condition. Please study the photos for condition.
