Preloved Vintage Children's Cutlery Set, Child's Novelty Cutlery
 
A set of vintage children's flatware, featuring an embossed animal motif handle design.
 
Key Characteristics
 
The Fork: Designed with an elephant figure stamped into the base of the handle under a small bird perched above its trunk.
 
The Knife: Features a long-eared rabbit figure detailed with striped clothing on the base of its handle.
 
Material & Origin: The blade of the knife is stamped with the text "STAINLESS STEEL JAPAN", indicating it was manufactured in Japan using standard mid-century flatware production techniques.
 
 
Pieces Included: 1x Child Knife, 1x Child Fork.
 
Condition: Heavy-gauge steel that will not bend or warp like modern plastic or cheap metal children's sets.  Good vintage condition. This set has been loved and used, showing a gentle, consistent patina of superficial micro-scratches from normal household dishwashing (please see photos for close-up details). There are no deep gouges, sharp burrs, bending, or rust spots.
 
They are silver in colour . The photos show some reflections and shadowing. 
 
The knife measures 16.5cm in length and 1.8cm in width. The fork measures 13.6cm in length and 2cm in width.
