Design Features
This specific aesthetic features a clean glossy glaze accented with an unglazed, iron-rich toasted brown trim around the rim, nostrils, and eyes. This playful "face" style was a highly popular and collectible novelty design theme across several mid-to-late 20th-century Australian studio potteries.
