If you're after a Peter Rabbit that looks like he's been dragged through Mr McGregor's hedge backwards, look no further than this prized example made by R. Dakin & Co in 1974.
Standing 35cm (13.8") tall to the tip of his ears and measuring 20cm (7.9") across his back feet he is, despite all his imperfections, in great condition with no holes, tears, split seams or noticeable discolouration.
In need of a nice brush and maybe a gentle wash his blue felt waistcoat is quite pilled and his bow-tie is missing all but one end yet he displays beautifully, full of character and would make a wonderful decor item for a vintage-themed nursery.
