Vintage French ceramic and glass salt, herb or spice mill, featuring a hand-painted traditional folk design (such as a Moustiers or Quimper style) and a wooden-handled plunger mechanism.
Design Features
Base & Lid: Crafted from white ceramic with a hand-painted bird and floral decoration.
Container: A clear glass central cylinder that lets you see the contents inside.
Grinding Mechanism: A manual top-press plunger style with a wooden cross-handle and internal spring mechanism. The grinder section is plastic. It appears to be in good condition.
It measures 12.5cm in height and 6.5cm in diameter.
The wooden dowel slides out of the holder to take it to pieces. I havent found a way to separate the glass and ceramic base to clean it. I don't know if it comes apart.
