Preloved Vintage 1980 Matchbox Anitron Trailor and Cab - Separate Sales
 
This vintage Matchbox Super Kings K-8 Mercedes-Benz "Anitran" Animal Transporter truck and trailer set from the early 1980s offers a unique addition to any collection or decor.
 
It is roughly 1/43 Scale. The two piece model measures approx. 30cm in length.
 
Produced by Lesney Products in England between 1980 and 1984, this die-cast set was part of the "King Size" range, known for its larger, more detailed commercial vehicles compared to the standard 1-75 series. 
 
Available for separate sale, the trailer and cab each hold nostalgic charm and enduring craftsmanship. Enhance your decor style with a piece of automotive history that’s both collectible and visually striking.
 
 
The bright red Mercedes-Benz COE (Cab Over Engine) unit features a sleek dark brown or black chassis.
 
It measures 11cm in length, 5cm in width and 6cm in height. 
 
It only has one mirror. The windscreen has scratches and clouding. It is missing the aerofoil on top.
 
Complementing the prime mover is a large, tan-coloured articulated livestock trailer boldly labelled "Anitran," and a distinctive stylised animal head logo on the side. There is no livestock included in the sale.
 
Functional drop-down ramps are designed for "loading" animals, enhancing the authentic appeal, while three translucent skylights on the roof brighten the animal compartment with natural light.
 
It measures 23.5cm in length, 5.5cm in width and 8cm in height.
 
The rear door has damage. One side door is missing.
