Preloved Vintage Melon Baller, Vintage Kitchen Utensil
A vintage scissor-style meatball maker (also commonly used as a melon baller, cookie dough scooper, or butter shaper).
Key Characteristics
Function: The two hollow semi-spherical halves come together when the handles are squeezed, shaping minced meat or dough into a uniform ball. The small drainage holes in the back of the cups let excess air, liquid, or oil squeeze out easily.
Origin: The stamp on the handle explicitly reads "TAIWAN MS", identifying it as a vintage mid-century cast aluminium piece manufactured in Taiwan.
It measures 16.2cm in length and 5.7cm in maximum width. The baller has a diameter of 3.7cm. The total depth of the baller is 3.4cm.
